MIDORI, the sequel to the acclaimed puzzle game SHI•RO, immerses players in the enchanting narrative of priest Yoshida. This journey begins as Yoshida departs from home to restore hope to the people of Kyoto.
Players traverse dark, mysterious forests to summon the ancient gods, known as Kami-sama, to Yoshida’s shrine. Engaging with thoughtfully crafted puzzles, one must create spaces among maple trees that invite the gods' presence.
Throughout this journey, players encounter animal messengers of the gods, offering guidance and teaching essential Japanese vocabulary that enhances interaction with the natural world.
